No mas bolas

Yesterday, Ridley-boy was finally neutered. I was very nervous since my family never spayed/neutered animals. We lived on a couple of acres (in the boonies) and they helped with the birds and vermin. Anyways, Ridley really hates the pet carrier. I can get him in it but once he figures out he's not getting out he starts howling and pleading to be let out. His office visit went fine and he's recovering well.
He was really hungry though. I woke up last night to him licking the pita chips bag. He usually doesn't do that kind of thing. It was loud enough for it to come through to my dreams. It kinda freaked me out. We just feed him a bit more and he went to sleep.

We went to see Snow White and the Huntsman  last weekend. It was pretty goo. I like the dark and fantasy aspects of the movie. It was a lot darker. I like dark fairy tales. It makes it more realistic.  Hopefully, we'll be seeing Prometheus.  It looks like a good sci-fi movie . It'll make a nice dinner date for us. Jesse found his gift cards so it'll make it cheaper to go to dinner.

I've been in a funk this week. I've been wanting to sew but haven't had the drive to do it. I have a ton of fabric that I can make dresses and skirt out of but I'm always afraid I won't look well in a dress. Or worse yet that I'll look like some old matronly women. I don't know. I've been losing weight slowly. My doctor said that it's better if I lose the weight slowly it'll stay off longer than crash dieting. I've never had much confidence. I know I can look nice but I don't always feel like I look good.  I know I'll never be a small women and for the most part I'm okay with that. I like having boobs and a booty. I wish my waist were smaller but I can live with it. I'm health and my husband loves me as I am. Sorry for the downer.

I did get my new shoes last week. They're totally gorgeous. All leather and a comfy soles.

PhotobucketHere's Ridley being all cuddly post-op. All the vet techs kept calling him a handsome big boy.  He weighs 13.2 lbs. He's under house arrest until his sutures heal.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and fun weekend.

I say, get sewing and make some cute dresses, as long as you like em who cares what anyone else thinks!

    1. Thank you. I'll keep that in mind. It's like once I wear the outfit I feel fine but the first time out it's nerve wrecking.

  3. The poor little darling, ohhhhh! Our girl, Stella, is exactly the same way with pet carriers. No matter how roomy or comfy, nor how short the duration she's in one, she meows so pitifully the whole time it's all I can do not to break down in tears. I hope that Ridley makes a swift post-op recovery and that he's back to his usual self in no time.

Thank you very much for your wonderfully nice comment on my post about being named a must-read vintage blogger, I sincerely appreciate it and hope you have a gorgeous, relaxing weekend, dear gal!

    2. Thank you. Yeah he can't stand if for more than 10 minutes. When we moved up he made most of the 400 mile trip in my lap on a pillow. It was really cute. Now he's almost too big to sleep on my lap.

  6. Aww pobrecito tu gatio, dicen que engordan mas cuando los capan.
I been wanting to order those gorgeous huaraches in every color.
    Are they comfy.
Tu ponte a cosar esos vestidos!

    1. I know. I'm watching what he eats. I love the sandals. They are very comfy. Once I get more money, I plan to buy another pair. The insoles are really squishy and mold to your feet.
I bought a couple of long line bras to help with the lonjas. I hate to exercise. Actually I hate the sweating more than anything. I like to go for walks though.

    1. I bought them off of eBay. Search for leather tooled shoes and you should be able to find them.
